Soft Soap Preachers

Before Jesus walked the earth
Before man saw The Light
Christ would die, so His death could birth
His church to stand and fight

Against demonic gross deceit
Satanic worldwide lies
Through living truth cause death’s defeat
And open man’s blind eyes

By faith to bring one’s self; to die
Perhaps suffering pain
Trusting life’s risen King on high
We’ll live, to live again

In retrospect since Jesus died
Two thousand years have gone
Demonic sin has multiplied
What’s come of power’s dawn?

When will the church be truly strong?
When will revival be?
That more will hear salvation’s song
From those The Truth sets free

Is not God’s Kingdom found within?
Is not Heaven’s powers
The church should rise, go forth and win
When grace and truth is ours

Where is the church of yesteryear?
What in the world’s gone wrong?
Would not more redemption appear?
If Truth’s, more heard, than song

But people will more be tickled
With what soft soap preachers give
Than waken, with gospels prickled
Causing sinners to live…..
