So Wonderful

Rating: 3.0

God's children destined for Heaven
Those living, those before
In one thousand years from seven
This world will see no more

A new earth will find its dawning
Where there'll be no more night
No crying, sleeping, yawning
With Jesus as its light

Utopia notwithstanding
Beautiful dreams aside
God's people by grace expanding
With Jesus, will abide

Jerusalem new and glowing
On earth will come to stand
No manufacture showing
Formed by The Lord God's hand

Beings once made of flesh and bones
As Jesus will we be
Yet living souls as building stones
God's temple will He see

Imagine today can no one
What future stands before
Just The Father Spirit, and Son
Knows what's beyond life's door

Though surely there'll be surprises
Things wondrous we'll perceive
No seers nor surmises
Could hope, think or conceive

What soul on earth living right now
With competence of mind
Will fail their knees, Jesus to bow
This awesome life to find? .....
