Soar On Land Poem by Taylor Ryan

Soar On Land

Wings so broad
beautiful bronze
such tips do blind
unknown creature
take flight
soar over land
laugh along Wind
when peered upon
hearts do cry
such beauty pains
mortals can't explain
hair thick with lust
skin so smooth
watch those talons
they hurt worse
rumor goes
that a man of Earth
captured such a heart
among the mountains
mystery surrounds
such a curious case
reason behind why
a woman of Wind
would land once again
vines do entrap
such beauty to crave
mand and woman
opposites so true
love such contradiction
for she soars
on land too.
