I write to let you know I think about you
Lest you decipher how I feel
My heart does give me courage to reveal
Vain hopes I’ve long since harboured silent from you
Even though right now we are just friends
Your closeness to me makes me want more;
Opening a barricaded door,
Unravelling the veil that hides my ends
