So You Are My Girlfriend Poem by Louis Borgo

So You Are My Girlfriend

Rating: 2.0

Friendship is that beauty between elegant and over compromise for some reason likely
You’re going laugh about later well yeah yes technically growing up I had a lot of young ladies
That was friends what went wrong where do I start-

Have you ever heard of anybody wearing Sunglasses to school and all the teacher approve it?
Being Jason the kid pays off dividends when you are the
Go to guy is there study hall anymore, ” A lane to rain if I may”-

When you found out that most guys got note with simply reply no it’s someone else
It’s time to go homebound but I be back no worries “Sun-To-Light”-

Furthermore this is not Smallville but consider a village it’s ain’t even a S on my chest
But if I had to pick a character it would Borgos reason being I’m never getting up off my last name.

And as long as I been in this city you would think sorting people would know how
To spell my name I know most of my family is from up north and what in the world do they
Mean we be trying to get him to talk are you making fun of my accent again today-

Because I might speak more than one language you know it is 30 to 40 different dialects
In the English language so yeah it’s hard not to speak my mind

But cast a reflect among a pond you might be surprise cause looks fade so they say
But that is a part of life it’s call vanity.

I mean the reason I never ask some of them out I not how can I put it I’m not political correct
Let’s go in a little deeper show we, it’s like meeting the parents for the first time something like
Drumline I wonder who could relate?

But as you get older you understand there is no such thing as perfectly world
I guess I can hear the world cry because I know for a sure face I aint the only one
Scary to meet the parents, Already-

Know A days I learn how to coordinate them clothes not to stump over them words
Wait let it sank in believe it or not on server occasion older woman tell me you are
Charming and Handsome small city wonder word got around.

When you look up those words in the dictionary maybe I got the OK
Speak to your daughter.

But hitting that breaking point
Yeah I’m still in love but I’m in love with love with the idea of being in love-

They say some woman like bad boys but look on news and the news anchor lady said when they get
Older they prefer the nice guys so what was they going there a phase?

Somehow my phone number was post it on the internet well I’m wait for the income calls.
What I learn to have love or be in love there must be a relationship to have a relationship
There must be communication.

And always remember I’m not your honey I want be your best friend
You ate today let’s get some lunch my good buddy-

All I what know is we still friends and this voice sound so formally on the phone
“somebody clue me in” is this love or something like it darling darling baby.

A poet and still running-
