So Many Times We Humans Meet
So many times we humans meet
With blinding lights!
So many our hands arise
To cover our trembling furious eyes.
I saw a hedgehog with light in
His eyes. His eyes turned red
Transformed chemically.
And he crossed the street away
Fast
Hopping on one leg the other he
Used as a hand to shield off
Light.
