So Many Lonely Souls Around Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

So Many Lonely Souls Around

So many lonely
Souls around
Wanting to Find
common Ground

Many beads
Many pearls
Broken necklace
Lost to dirt

Petals strewn
Bouquets torn apart
Who will put them
In a vase

Oppressive breaths
Palpable pains
Sadness soaked
In every grain

Smile on face
Slice of hope
Another mile
I'll walk
tight rope
