Snow in April Poem by Edward Lewis Davison

Snow in April

Rating: 3.5

Can April die today
And still deny the Spring
A welcome for her May?

What smiles her lips will quell
When birds neglect to sing
Her wonted greeting well.

How sadly she will sigh
When through the naked trees
The moaning wind goes by.
