Snow Falling Poem by Bryan Altendorf

Snow Falling

She playfully dances in the crisp air
Carefree to the world around her
Cheerfully singing in the quiet night skies
Slowly, opening up her heart to love
Protected, yet exited of what maybe
Blowing in the wind, adrift but not alone

Standing still, I look up and smile
Joyfully sharing our moment together
With each of her flakes gently kissing my face
I open my mouth in anticipation
Hoping for just one taste of this moment
I close my eyes, thankful once again…
