Sniffin' At Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Sniffin' At Lincoln Park Zoo

A bear like me has super smell.
My sniff leads me to where to dig.
Even under snow, I can tell
If I should undertake the gig.
Now snow can cover up the scent
For those with ordinary nose.
But for me, winter does present
Opportunities ala froze.
Human helpers do humor me
By hiding goodies in my space.
Then they leave me alone to be
Digging up with my paws and face,

Snow buried at Lincoln Park Zoo,
I smell a yum yum - yes I do.
