Sneaking Out Poem by Lorene Kinsey

Sneaking Out

Crouched in the shadows
Of a naked maple,
Chilly breath of air.
Waiting for the headlights
To peer over the hill
When he comes
For me.
Velux in hand and
Flashlight too,
What fun and adventure
Can we get into?
