Slumber Poem by Austin Moore

Slumber

Rating: 5.0

The darkest dawn, A quiet dark night
She stands alone in the distance
No expression on her face
Invisible tears fall silently
The cold, soft air is all that holds her
Stars of denial reflect off a river of sorrow
A need to understand but no need to question
The sight, intoxicating
Her soft cheek, no smile
The desire extinguished in her eyes
