Broken Poem by Austin Moore

Broken

Rating: 5.0

Broken I lay, twisted inside
The reason; I no longer care to hide
Intimacy is a distant memory
Commemorating the only thing that can’t be
You wanted someone that could hold their head high
I can't ignore the pain, I just wait to die
Always told you the truth, didn’t lie to you once
Yet still you created this wall, this distance
I keep calling your name, you won’t answer me
My only desire; to make you happy
