You see me with your eyes
But know me you don't
I might let you see a glimpse
But all of me you won't

Its not that I'm shy
I've just been hurt too much
I fell in love with a cheater
with every word and touch

See now I've come to know
That slowly love kills
So don't say his name
it gives me chills

If only he woulda stayed
The pain wouldn't be here
But now it kills me
just to look in the mirror

I was once not depressed
when I was with him
But ever since he left
my lifes been hanging by a limb

You may say I'm cold
But loves the one to blame
for if it weren't for love
I'd still be the same

Because slowly love kills
A fact very true
Love breaks hearts and shatters hope
All a sacrifice people choose
