I find comfort
in the letters that form
in the lyrics
and the notes
I find understanding
in the lines
in each stanza
And the meaning on which we doat

I find emotion
In the pen I hold
in the paper I fill
in teh heart I serch everyday
I find acceptance
better in the arms of a stranger
better not with you
And better farther away

I find the past
here in my future
her in each word you speak
I find the present
There in my past
repeating itself through the meak
