Slowly Killing Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Slowly Killing

Slowly killing

You are my moon
That shall be proved soon
I am in love since being child
As I was pleased to find

Always remained my ideal
As it looked so real
To heal
My hurt feeling in general

What do I know as child?
About love being told
But I knew it was something special
And answer so typical

Slowly gaining stature
Moon proved as ideal lover
Symbol of everlasting pleasure
"Love shall reign" as if to ensure

So I feel sad
When it starts to fade
Taking away my innocent feelings
And slowly killing
