Slow Rowing... Poem by John F. Bisner Ureña.

Slow Rowing...

Paddling slow I go through life
on calm waters that reflect
the glare of the stars in infinity
of a sad darkness that surrounds me.

I'm rowing slow with a cold thinking and
about my shoulders the torment of full feelings
of hope that blows the spiritual candle that
lies firmly and happily in a noble soul.

I'm rowing slowly with an old and lost compass
that does not know where he is going or in which
port he will anchor and so on,
subtly I try to reach that divine light that is kind
and full of love marks the route of a destiny of
chills and dilemmas purpose which you discover
with amazement and that can only be achieved
with the patience of the wise man who sails calm
and confident paddling slow on the path traced
by an Almighty God.
