Sleeping Here Forever Poem by Amy Kerswell

Sleeping Here Forever

Now here I shall sleep.
Sleeping here for eternity.
As to end it all.
I decided to do.

I shall sleep here forever
Maybe sleep in peace.
Here I shall be
Forever more

Asleep in my pit
In my grave forever.

Oh how many times I have thought this very thing. When I go to the cemetery to visit my mom's gravesite, I thik oh how peaceful this all is. But then I know too that there is a lot I have to do yet, and so I turn and leave. Your poems are so real to me, because I can indentify with them. But they also make me think too. If anyone reading these poems stops to think about what they read, they can be inspired because 'life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around, you might miss it.' (From Ferris Bueller's Day Off.) Thanx Amy you have really given me something to think about. Barbara
