Sleeping Dog Poem by Haruna Garba

Sleeping Dog

I never know it to snarl
No, it never barks at all
Sober is he sleeping dog
In its sleep it knows no bite
Not until you ring some bell
And looking for trouble is that
Safe is any serene passerby
