Sky 08 Poem by Kira Bloom

Sky 08

The wind flows freely across my face
All my senses reach to the simplicity in this feeling
The fresh cut grasses and the new flowers mingle with a unique mark
The sense of spring though I know it to be fall
Strange how wonderful the misplaced seasons are
Every thing I knew is so far gone
And still so close to my heart
New faces, old words
New sensations, old emotions
They all melt into the soft cotton of clouds
As my eyes swim through the bluest sky
How it seems like home
Though I had forgotten the word
Lost that peace
And here in the simplest of moments
I find it again with out attempt or thought
It is here tangled in the wild breeze
It is not my surroundings
Simply wind and sky that refreshes
That gentile frame of mind
It could be the music or
The familiar heat of summer
But no
The glimmer in my eyes can only boundless
As the sky I am fading in
