Skin Deep Poem by Tsunami HiroshiSu

Skin Deep

I wear you like night
A cloak
My skin
I wear you my love
Skin tight
Flowing
My skin
I wear you like wind
Like fire and water
Like butterflies
My love
I wear you like skin
My dear
I wear you
My mask
I wear you skin deep
A week or more
But never sleep
Your beauty is only skin deep
I wear you
Like bones
Luminous
Skin
I wear you
Like moon light
Where you left me
But the cut is in the skin
Only skin deep
You won't shake me
Not my bones
It's only skin deep
I wear you
Like skin
I shed my skin
I'll wear bones instead
