Skin Poem by derrick foster

Skin

I wear this skin like a glove
Comfy and cozy and familiar
In this skin I am liberated
Free to be happily blissfully
In this skin I am strong
Intently confident sure
In this skin I look you in the eye
I smile connect briefly
In this skin ifeel at home
It is only a uniform
I eternally adorn
In this skin I came in
And shall leave it
In this natural state
Comfort and strength
Go hand in hand
To fit this glove of skin
Confidently with true spirit and soul
I wear it well.
