Sixth Sense, Ghost Poem by shyam sundar

Sixth Sense, Ghost

I was walking on a lonely lane,
with not even my shadow behind me,
felt like being isolated from my kind,
and i seemed to be out of my mind..

Saw a figure walking towards me,
i never dared to look at its face,
but unuasually it was'nt fearsome,
as i walked and walked and walked..

Queer thoughts ruffled me,
these were all so unusual to me,
used to fear even a stare at me,
but no dropp of sweat went down my spine..

I was the brightest in the lane,
but none seemed to be interested in me,
everything seemed to be out of place,
and i felt i was'nt of their race..

Heavy wind seemed to be blowing,
the branches of trees kept waving,
unusually, i dint feel a dust touching,
and i felt it was not worth living..

Atlast saw a figure of man, at the end of the lane,
i was curious, took my hands to his shoulder,
but there was no response, then i realised why,
that i was'nt walking, but gliding down the lane..
