Six Years Poem by Emediong Fabian

Six Years

Six long years have come
I came, I saw, I conquered
Amazing and wonderful, my experiences were

It was my life long dream,
to be here, oh! Yes, to beam
To build my destiny,
to build my life

The years came by so fast
that I prayed to see the last
It felt like forever
Six years or never

The first was thrilling
so much I felt like screaming,
'It's finally happening'
The joy was building

The second came, amazing
though not as the beginning
'Ain't so bad', I thought
'This can't get me nuts'

The third was not so thrilling
Felt like my head was spinning
'Hell! This ain't good
but I'm not stupid too'

The fourth, wow!
I was soon taking a bow
Happy, I said
'Glory to God! '

The fifth was my dream
that had come to be
My life, my destiny
All began to beam.

Then, just one day
the sixth came my way
I sang all day
and danced with gay

Six long years have come
I came, I saw, I conquered
Amazing and wonderful, my experiences were!
