Sitting On The Stairs



Sitting here on the stairs
Finally realizing no one cares
Lying here in your arms
Knowing there will be no harm
Parents know always how to put me down
But you’re always there to pick me up off the ground
Standing here in a puddle of tears
Not seeing you’ve been there all these years
Flying high like a dove
Finally realizing I’ve always had your love
