Sisters Are Forever Poem by Terri Read

Sisters Are Forever

When she came home tiny and new
I knew I'd have a friend
We shared our toys and all our
Sorrows and joys
As she grew we were a team
She tried and tried to be like me
Although she didn't always succeed
Through her smiles and her laughter
The fears and small tears
She never left my side
She was growing up, just alittle to fast
The dolls are gone and the toys are few
She's almost a young women
I will always love her truly
She will be my friend forever
Someday she will understand
Why I did silly things
Why we'd fight, she always
Wanted to be like me
But little sister if I had the chance
You could follow me anytime
For I will always be your friend
Until the end... I love you.
