Lost Love Poem by Terri Read

Lost Love

My life is worth a thousand lies
Life fails to capture me
Keeping my feet on the ground
I promise you will know all
Your soul lives inside of me
I kept my feelings locked inside
Like an angry child
There were rivers of tears
Can't believe I let it conquer me
Love is tender, trusting and true
I might not recover from you
I'm lost inside a foolish disguise
Even if I fall I will survive
In spite of all the tears I cry
The mountain is never to high to climb
Love is worth a try
