Sirius Times Poem by Sincair Farrell

Sirius Times

Humanity marches towards extinction
stranded at a crossroads
blinded by that pulsating glare
of its own ignorance
trials & tribulations of a lost world
plunged into darkness

an outbreak of another self induced crisis
if its not Ebola its Isis
real terrorist wear suits
the ones in governments
who bring order through chaos
they created
Muslims aren't the ones destroying the world
the extremist are satanic
not Islamic

times are sirius
when aeroplanes simply disappear into thin air
fall from the sky
and vanish
off the face of the earth
like children reported missing
never to be seen again

in a world built on deceit
truth is a convenient lie
hidden in plain sight
his-story is the biggest deception
that should be ever be written about
in any book wrote about mankind
but all lies reveal themselves in time
like revelations that were prophesized
the truth about our existence
is as deep as the ocean
more profound than can be imagined

when there is different dimensions
of deceit to be exposed
deeper down the rabbit hole
you go
more complex hidden secrets
are waiting to be found

who can you trust
when those you thought were there to protect you
are the same ones
covering up the crimes committed against you
or the same ones committing those crimes
who can you run to?

when reality morphs into conspiracy theory
an illusion of normality
society has sleepwalked into
a world once perceived to be normal
will implode in on itself
because nothing built on lies was built to last
These are sirius times.
