Singing In The Shower Poem by Joan Goodwin

Singing In The Shower

the free soul knows
no matter who is
outside the door
the words only matter
to the one singing them:
I will always love
the rain coming down
on a street in Memphis...
Saw the ghost of
a free bird, and this
wayward son will have
peace on a sunny day.
