Simple Rejection
I told her how i felt
and she just wanted to be friends.
That is all that happened
Just a simple rejection
No maybes
No confusion
Just a straight answer.
She was honest with me
And i am glad she was.
It hurts a lot
But it could have been worse
It was just a simple rejection
And that is the end of this story
