Silk Bird Poem by T. Alfred Norman

Silk Bird

Many times, more moons have gone
Memories of Yester and to-day
Wishing she was home. As better memories fade away
He disappears, still onward they roam.

Beauties and bonds tense and taught
Lovers depart with one last kiss
Battling tears deep within, they fought
Fueling jets and years that they spend amiss

Fetal position and eyes shut
Dreaming of a warm embrace
From smiles morph miles that cut
The tongue, no blood only love he tastes

The fragrance of your locks in his lap,
Gentle and silent she rests without care
He were a silk bird would nest in your trap
And get lost in the curls of your hair

In this moment there is only one life
Loves sharp force which never dulls or dies
The coming separation when they feel love's knife
When this silk bird leaves, it flies.

Memories dwell alright just walk the same lane with someone sweeter that could replace the flame. Pluck the thorns that cause the pain and time heals everything. Wonderful poem. Thanks for sharing T. Alfred Norman! ! !
