Morpheus slips out from behind the wardrobe.
Sleep has arrived, morpheus is calling, pulling me away,
too many worries crowd my mind and force me to stay.
Eventually he takes my hand, powerless i go in silence,
i cant resist, i unclench my fist, all without any violence.
He soothes my mind with dreams, so vivid and realistic,
A master of deception, sometimes the dreams are twisted.
morpheus, like drops of purple ink in a glass of water,
swirling mysteriously, unconsciously he caught her.
Now she sleeps so very still, barley she makes a sound,
did Morpheus go beyond his work taking her underground?
But comes the dawn chorus, as soft sun beams stray,
followed by a yawn and stretching, chasing Morpheus away.
Morpheus silently leaves just the same as he entered,
he releases his victims gently and their exit is not prevented.
We all need Morpheus, he has come for me now,
i cant keep my eyes open, so i'll finish up now.
