Sign Language



No words needed, hearing eyes speak
body crumples, shuddering away - disappearing softly.
It's a door closing as walls tumble skyward
until you are alone with memories of what once was.
Your ears torn by the sound of their silence
inside, your stripped heart, knows, it knows
this is the end, the end was here for some time.
Their love diminished, your will spent -
words unsaid, as two people - part.
