If a nook was a neuk,
a poet would change
a look to a leuk.

With a hang-dog look,
an English poet says 'clowes':
for 'clothes' rhymes only
with 'loathes' and betroths'.

A poet in Scottish
can keep a straight face:
for 'clothes' is 'claise' and 'claes'.
