Sidebar On The Story Of Gideon

'So Gideon built an altar to the LORD there and called it The LORD is Peace.' Judges 6: 24a, New International Version

Jehovah Shalom -
Where are the miracles we seek?
Why did we run and hide from You?
Pressing forces, weighing us down...
Where once we used to dance, now is only toil and fear.
Jehovah Shalom -
Why pick me? I am foolish and weak.
Hiding here, marking time, making do.
There's nothing I can do to found
A better world right now, right here.
Jehovah Shalom -
God of peace, who calls us to fight
Figure that one out.
Jehovah Shalom -
Praise be to God, who lets us question Him even though He's right
When we are full of doubt.
