did the Germans get Wednesday right,
calling it Mittwoch (Midweek) :

should they have called Thursday that,
and called Wednesday Wodenstag;

does Sunday begin the week:
did the Germans get Mittwoch right;

should I the following to Germany send:
make Sunday Anfangwoch,
make Saturday Wochenend.

To honour the old names,
should we call the start of a race
der Sonntag
and its finish der Sonnabend
?

'Not that I'm a knocker,
but those would make 'a race' 'eine Woche.'
