Shore Meets Poem by Fallen Pieces

Shore Meets

I feel myself caught up in the tide;
my feet, legs, knees scraping against the rough coral & rocks;
My hair's a swirl of unwinding curls & my hands aren't mine
The sky above is coming closer to an end of blue;
I'm tumbling away unable to grasp an intended move
A melancholy spirit rises within me and slowly floats away toward the
shoreline
My beauty is stripped from my toes to my fingertips,
my eyes are robbed of their dark color,
losing all display of hue and my hearing has gone mute
But I am swimming....
I see that bit of sunshine through the water,
my body drifts up to catch that last bit of air;
to feel it's life reach down in my lungs; my beauty will overrule me again
The golden essence fades away
I stay afloat the milky waters, my soul subsiding the end & the truth overcomes.
Not even Angels can save me now
Loneliness is the gift of endlessness
