Shipswreck Poem by Elisa Negri

Shipswreck

The silence of the shipwreck in the sea
places the sky;
the seagulls fly over,
the calm of the waves brings peace
The captain is comfortable.
there's a white shark
swims beneath,
The fish bank is getting wide.
the blocked corpses
waiting to be rotten
or eaten.
the captain of the vessel
smiley-dead.
and his crew followed him.
an artificial ship is
nothing in the storm.
and there is silence
shipwreck at sea.
but the souls of men
wanted to be free.
