She Wanted Poem by Spiritwind Wood

She wanted love to her I could not give
needed a touch I could not make her live
she wanted from me a love like no other
but my heart was promised to another

She needed from me a passion of forever
and all I could give her was never
she only wanted me to always stay
and said she wanted us to be
but all I could do was just walk away

She reached for dreams of us together
but I had nothing I could give her
she wanted in me something I couldn't see
that she said was her only fantasy

She felt the pain from tears she would cry
but I had to let the storms fade and die
because with her I couldn't even try
for there was only one meant for me
