She's My Type Of Girl

That I want to keep forever
To hold, to kiss, to love, to cherish
She’s my type of girl
That I want to introduce the world to
That I want to introduce my parents to
She’s my type of girl
That I just want to keep everyone away
That I just want to keep to myself
That I just want to love, to have as mine
To hold her heart and keep it forever
To put her hand in mine and say “you are my girl'
She’s my type of girl
That I can’t believe she’s all mine
I still pinch myself everyday
I still think this is a dream
That I’ll wake up one day and she’ll be gone
This is reality not dreams
She’s my dream and my reality
My everything, my fate, my future
how can someone be my everything
So quickly, so fast, and still be mine
even after all my quirks, all my faults
She’s still here, still has her arms wide open
Just for me, she’s here just for me
She’s just my type of girl
My fate, My future, My world, My dreams
My desire, My keeper, My hero all of the above
She’s is everything and so much more to me

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me
Who have not drawn the veil to see
If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
