She's Living For Today Poem by Ray Hansell

She's Living For Today

She doesn't dwell on her past
Or the bad that she has faced
Because if she dwelled too much
She knows she'd lose her place

So, she lives each day
Just like it was her first
Her passion for life
Seems to quench her thirst

She looks at each new day
Like it's a new beginning
By ignoring the bad from her past
She feels each day she's winning

She has a hold on life
She's not letting go
The bad things from her past
She doesn't need to let people know
