She's Confused About Her Gender Poem by Chelsea Blick

She's Confused About Her Gender

Though loved dearly by me
It isn’t willingly, sadly
There is no intimacy, we are
What do you call it?
Unrelated sisters,
I call you my friend
you call me your fiend
You do the worse,
Eat and run, sleep then leave
Worse then a man, a one night stand.
You leave me hanging every time,
I should’ve known better
I’ve gotten lazy, and like my legs
I should learn to close my heart
Too venerable, you’re my rock
Well rocks can be a little too tough
Your so damn strong, and I am weak
Do you see a fool when you look at me?
If you don’t then please tell,
Why is it that when tears come,
you leave?
