The days are so lovely
The sun shining so bright
This is where she finds peace
Not in the darkness of the night
The night time always finds her
In the darkness of her gloom
Always by herself
Crying in her bedroom
She only cries at night
With no one else around
That way she knows
No one will hear a sound
No questions for her to answer
No lies for her to tell
She just spends each night
In her own living hell
But every single evening
It's the same old routine
You'd think maybe now and then
She'd get lost inside a dream
All she does is think about him
And the way he said goodbye
She says that's the reason
Why every night she cries
She said, her heart has never healed
She'll never love again
All she can remember
Are all the things they did back then
She doesn't want to feel better
It's easier to hate
That way she will remember
Why marriage isn't that great
