She Makes Things Alright Poem by Ray Hansell

She Makes Things Alright

Lying here all alone
In my darkened room
I'm not very happy
But I know I will be soon

When that door swings open
And she comes walking through
All the days disappointments
Will suddenly seem so few

She'll lay down beside me
As the day turns to night
As long as she's here with me
Everything will be alright

I'll spend the night just dreaming
As I hold her so tight
I'll go to sleep just knowing
She'll be here in the morning light

As a new day starts to break
And the sun is on the rise
She'll see all my love for her
When she looks in my eyes
