She Loves Me. She Loves Me Not Poem by Allan van der Meulen

She Loves Me. She Loves Me Not

Petal number 1 tells me i have her love, that we would always be together that there would always be an us
Petal number 2 tells me it isn't true that heartbreak is our fate and that there is nothing I can do.

Petal number 3 is where her love returns to me,
but on petal number 4 once more her love flees.

Petal number 5 this is the second last leaf and if this means she loves me the other is... It cannot be.

Thats when i realise, no matter how hard I try I cannot change the outcome so i begin to cry.

Standing here screaming why? To the world i say goodbye.
Tears flowing from my eyes.

I drop the sunflower stem take a deep breath... and feel my soul die
