She'Ll Not Complain Poem by Karla Bell

She'Ll Not Complain

I heard something sad today,
My friend will have to go away,
She’s not allowed to always stay,
For her life, she has to pay.

Her days she drank into a state,
Her husband had already sealed her fate,
He ate from hers and another’s plate,
And soon we will commemorate......

She’ll not complain, she never does,
She’s not the kind to make a fuss,
Around her a harmonious buzz,
Her gardening boots and birds above.

I shall enjoy each time with my friend,
We’ll laugh and giggle till the end,
It’ll not be easy, I won’t pretend,
My darling, beautiful, gentle lady, friend.
