She-Goat Poem by Sunny Ezeokafor Nathan

She-Goat

When she looks, she sees double
When she thinks; she thinks double
In her heart, dwells many troubles
It’s all happening due to these green bottles.

All she sees is pink and purple
All her life she dreamt being a happy couple
As she chews she brows bubbles
In her brain scatters different troubles.

A she-goat laying around he- goats
They appeared and disappears like an evil ghost
Where she lays, the family does not know
As she speaks she sound very deep and low

When she sobers she creates a good future
When she loves, it feels real and mature
Yet in her mind, lives many doubt
Its boils and makes her want to shout

If she will leave these green bottles
Perhaps she will stop having troubles
Then her heart will not think double
A she-goat; a double trouble.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
She left our 1 year 8 months with me and pursue fun; just want to waste away. I do not know why, but her action says it all.

A mournful poem, Sunny. Well written and to the point. I wish you peace
