Sharpen Pencils, Stab All! Poem by Alexandros Sandoval

Sharpen Pencils, Stab All!

put in a weak-definition
learned to ignore it
telling me a reflection
mirror does not lie
an endless quest
putting me down
accusations wouldn’t die

grabbing my arm
used my other hand
make me cut
it only bled, dried, and healed.
I slowly forgot
never asked how I felt
he felt better thinking
he were better

darkness risen from within
arms were wood
colored yellow
hands were sharp
arms were pencils
write hating them

I write, stabbing all
sharpened pencils
rising within
hunt down
Who said predator could not become your prey?
Write on, write on, hate on.
Let it dry
writing hate
to cut you.

pencils are sharpen
I stab, write on, and write on.
put me down

pencil in my pocket
write and write on
