Shadow Dog Poem by Asher Proschansky

Shadow Dog

Rating: 5.0

Shadow dog with her down cast eyes
Lies flat on her belly, as I walk by
Not a muscle moves, all paws remain still
As though enough of human overlords she has had her fill
Her eyes alone move to size me up
It is not worth the effort for her to get up!
