Sessile Poem by Boghos Artinian

Sessile

My brain yearns, as does yours, I suppose
To extend beyond my ears, eyes and nose,
To make distant chats, purchases and bets
Along the newly cast webs and nets.
This extra-cranial probing addiction
Spurs me to make the following prediction:
That we will eventually turn
Sessile, like neurons, and learn to earn
Our living along 'axons' and 'dendrites'
And lose our freedom and human rights!
